Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms then you may not access the Service.

We are a specialist supplier of car parts, spares and car accessories including service parts for most car makes and models. We serve both the general public and trade and have been established since 1985.

We only accept orders from the United Kingdom.

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

By continuing using this Service and by placing an order for Goods on our Website, you declare that:

  • you are at least 18 years of age and are have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • you are a Customer
  • all the information provided by you whilst placing an order for Goods is correct, absolute and not deceptive and
  • you accept our Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

 

Purchasing of Goods

Whilst purchasing Goods from our Website no contract for the supply of these Goods will come into existence until the Goods have been despatched or a confirmation email has been sent advising you that your Goods have been despatched.

Whilst purchasing Goods by another means other than direct from our Website, the Contract will not come into existence until either your order has been accepted by:

  • a confirmation email has been sent advising you that your order has been received
  • a confirmation email has been sent advising you that your Goods have been despatched or
  • delivery of the Goods.

All orders received by us from you for Goods will be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase Goods subject to these Terms. Every order placed by you for Goods which has been accepted by us will constitute a separate contract.

You accept that it is your responsibility to make sure that you have placed an order for the correct Goods and that the Goods are suitable and fit for the purpose they are intended to be used for by you unless we expressly state otherwise, in writing, we do not provide advice on such suitability.

You accept that it is your responsibility to ensure that the information you provide to us during the process of placing an order for Goods is correct, absolute and not deceptive. We shall not be held responsible for any inaccuracies incomplete or deceptive information you provide to us.

 

Supplying of Goods

We reserve the right to deliver Goods that are slightly modified to that of the Product Description, provided that any difference does not make the Goods unsuitable for the purpose intended.

We cannot guarantee that the appearance and/or colours of Goods shown on our Website will match exactly the appearance and/or colours of the physical Goods themselves. Natural products may show some colour variations against your vehicle colour, i.e. the vehicle colour may have changed due to certain conditions like the weather.

All Goods supplied by us are subject to availability. We reserve the right in the event that we cannot supply you with the Goods that you have ordered, to supply you with substitute Goods of equivalent or matching quality. Approval of any such replacements will be sought prior to sending it out.

Technical specifications are approximations unless specifically stated otherwise.

You will not remove, alter, deface, obfuscate or tamper with any of the trademarks, names or numbers affixed to or marked on the Goods nor allow anyone else to do so as appropriate action may be taken by us (or the manufacturer) against you for such infringements.

Unless otherwise specified, our delivery costs will be quoted at the time you place your order for the Goods. The entire cost of any transport or any special deliveries will be borne by you.

 

Stock Availability

Here at Car Parts UK we use an inventory system on our website so you will know if the Goods are in stock and/or if they can be backordered.

The stock availability status shown on our website is updated once a day so the actual stock at our warehouse may vary to that shown on the site as other orders may be received before your order has been received. Should you order any Goods where this has occurred we will email you advising you of this change in status.

Whilst we try and ensure that the inventory system is up-to-date on our Website, sometimes errors may occur and we may show Goods in stock where we do not actually have the item. Should you place an order for Goods which are not available we will inform you as soon as possible and advise you of when the Goods will be available, if at all. You will then, of course, have the option of continuing with your order or cancelling it without liability to us. If payment has been made and you wish to cancel your order, you will receive a full refund of the price paid.

Whilst every care has been taken in providing the correct information on this Website, Car Parts UK cannot accept any legal liability for any information that is unintentionally inaccurate. All information on this Website is provided in good faith and for general information only.

Goods displayed as being ‘in stock’, means that the item is available for immediate despatch.

Goods displayed as being ‘Can be backordered’ are not in stock but either the stock is due in from our Supplier or we can place an order for the Goods from our Supplier. However, we cannot give an indication of when the Goods may be received on our website but you can either call us on 07833 865701 or email us at [email protected] to find out.

Should you wish to place an order for Goods that have a different status, i.e. an item that is in stock and one that can be backordered, we may:

  • wait to ship your order until all Goods are available, unless otherwise instructed or
  • ship the Goods that are available immediately and then ship the backordered Goods separately when they become available.

 

Payments

All payments need to be made in full before any Goods will be despatched.

Payments can be made using credit cards or debit cards via the PayPal link on our Website or by making a bank transfer.

We may, at our discretion, defer or put a stop to the supply of any Goods if you fail to make any payment when due.

 

Cancellation of Orders

Should you change your mind after ordering but before the order has been processed, a refund will be made, however, a 5% handling fee will be applicable. Cancelled orders will be processed on the same day, where possible, and any reimbursements will be processed back to the original payment method.

Please be advised that most orders are processed on the same day so the following must be taken into consideration should you wish to cancel an order:-

  • Orders placed online before 1pm are processed the same working day, cancellation of an order placed online must take place before 1pm on the same day. It may not be possible to stop the processing of any orders if requests for cancellation are made after this time.
  • Orders placed over the phone with a member of our sales team before 1pm must be cancelled the same day by 1pm. It may not be possible to stop the processing of any orders if requests for cancellation are made after this time.
  • In the event of a failure to cancel the order within the limited time frame will result in your order being processed and despatched.

Once, the order has been processed and/or despatched you can still cancel it within 7 days of receipt for a refund.

Please note that any postage costs will be non refundable and that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the Goods to us.

A 10% handling fee will be applicable.

You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the Goods, which means the Goods must be unused and returned in a safe condition. All returns are checked and tested by us. Should your return is found to be used or opened, a refund may not be processed or we are entitled to deduct an amount from the refund to reflect any loss in value of the Goods supplied to you, if the loss is the result of unreasonable and/or unnecessary handling of the Goods by you.

The cancellation period will expire after 7 days from the day on which you receive the Goods.

Email us at [email protected] to inform us of your decision to cancel your order giving your name, address, contact number, email address and order number, prior to returning the items.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and not later than:

  • the day after the day we receive the Goods back from you or
  • the day after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel the order, if there were no Goods supplied.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.

You shall send back the Goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 7 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation to us.

 

Delivery

All items are despatched by either Royal Mail or a premium brand Courier. The method of delivery used will depend upon the value of your order, the content, weight and size of the parcel.

Our shipping charge is also based on the value of your order, weight and size of the parcel, the method of delivery used and the shipping class chosen by you. Please note that larger and/or heavier items will be shipped separately and therefore may be charged for shipping individually.

We will always try and get your parcel delivered as soon as we possibly can. This means that you should typically receive your Goods within a few days. However, sometimes it can take longer depending on your postal area and the time and day of the week you place your order. We shall not be liable for any delay in the delivery of your order, howsoever caused.

Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday will be shipped the same day in most cases. However, there are cases when this is not possible and therefore the parcel will be sent the next working day or as soon as we possibly can.

We will always endeavour to advise you within 24 hours if any item is out of stock, either by email or telephone. You will then, of course, have the option of continuing with your order or cancelling it without liability to us.

Orders placed after 1pm on Fridays, over the weekend and on Bank Holidays will not be despatched until the first working day of the following week or as soon as we possibly can.

All our deliveries will require a signature upon delivery so please ensure you are available to sign for your parcel as it will not be left without a signature. If you are not there to receive your delivery, please follow the instructions on the card that will be left to rearrange your delivery.

The card will explain if:

  • your parcel was delivered to one of your neighbours
  • was placed in a safe place
  • a further delivery will automatically take place or
  • whether you need to contact either us or the delivery company to make arrangements for receiving the parcel.

After three unsuccessful attempts to deliver your parcel have been made it will be returned to us and you will have to pay for us to re-arrange a further delivery, otherwise a refund for the price paid for the Goods will be issued. Please note that any postage costs will be non refundable and a 10% handling fee will be applicable.

Any additional instructions to the carrier must be agreed by Car Parts UK.

Goods delayed in Transit – should you not receive your Goods within 10 days of placing your order, please notify us by emailing us at [email protected] and we will investigate it.

Royal Mail and our Couriers do everything they can to locate the delivery address but sometimes this isn’t possible. If you think you can help with additional details then please contact us and we can forward the details on to the relevant carrier to ensure a delivery is made.

Unfortunately, items sent via Royal Mail cannot be classified as ‘lost’ until they have been missing for 15 working days.

Goods lost or missing in Transit – should you not receive your Goods within 10 days of placing your order, please notify us by emailing us at [email protected] and we will investigate it. Where we believe that the Goods were lost or missing in Transit we shall, at our sole discretion, organise a replacement of such Goods or issue you with a refund for the price paid for such Goods.

Goods damaged in Transit – should you receive Goods that have been damaged in transit, you must notify us by email at [email protected] within 7 days of receipt, providing photographs of the damaged contents still in the packaging. Provided that we are satisfied that the damage was caused in transit, at our sole discretion, we shall organise a replacement of such Goods or issue you with a refund for the price paid for such Goods. Please retain the damaged goods as we may ask you to return them to us.

Defective Goods – should you receive your order and the Goods are defective, you have the right to return the faulty Goods within a reasonable period of time. You must, however, notify us by email at [email protected] prior to returning the Goods. Please keep all the warranty information that accompanies your item as this may be needed should there be a fault. In the unlikely event that you have a faulty item, you may find it quicker and easier to contact the manufacturer directly so that they can rectify the problem for you.

Incorrect Goods – should you receive incorrect Goods, you must notify us by email at [email protected] within 7 days of receipt. Provided that you return the Goods to us within 7 days we shall, at our sole discretion, organise a replacement of such Goods or issue you with a refund for the price paid for such Goods. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the Goods, which means the Goods must be unused and returned in a safe condition. Installation of Goods

Any Labour Costs for the fitting of any of our products (such as Payment to a Garage for Fitment) is not directly or indirectly the responsibility of Car Parts UK therefore No Refund for any type of Labour can be given in any eventuality.

All items are to be fitted by an individual/organisation with the necessary experience and qualifications to do so. Should damage occur to any Goods supplied by us when not fitted by a qualified individual/organisation a replacement item cannot be supplied.

Whilst every care has been taken in providing the correct information on this Website, Car Parts UK cannot accept any legal liability for any information that is unintentionally inaccurate. All information on this Website is provided in good faith and for general information only.

However we cannot guarantee these dates to be absolutely 100% correct, as there is ambiguity with the dates published with the different car part manufacturers. We have tried with considerable effort to give accurate manufacturer year listings, but we cannot be held responsible for inacurate listings. Most of our products listed on this Website are non-original aftermarket replica items. All items are OE approved by their respective manufactures for re-sale in the UK aftermarket. All items are quality tested at the time of manufacture as per the ISO 9001 accredited report our manufactures hold.

The information given on this Website does not represent any form of advice or recommendation and should not be relied on and manufacturer details are listed for guidance only. By using this Website you confirm that you have not relied on any such information.

Whilst we try and ensure that all prices on our Website are correct, sometimes errors may occur and some prices may be incorrectly listed. If we discover an error in the price of the Goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the Goods at the correct price.
